Checking in after 24H
March 13th, 2026
Hello there folks, Myzzrym here!
It’s now been about 24 hours since Solasta II launched in Early Access, and although this might seem a bit early, we want to thank you for all the feedback you’ve already sent our way. We’ve always committed to being as proactive and transparent as possible in our communication, and that’s not about to change now!
After reading through the various Steam reviews, we’ve identified a few pain points — and as with any good Early Access, we’re going to tackle them!

Character Creator
You’ve said it, we’ve seen it – the Character Creator is not working as well as we hoped it would!
First, the selection of presets is simply too limited. This is something we want to address, notably by adding more presets and spending more time crafting them. Truth be told, we made the (wrong) assumption that most players would customize their character from scratch, so our presets didn’t receive the attention they deserved.
Second, the Character Creator tool is a bit overcomplicated. You can morph and mix different faces, which can be fun, but it can also make it difficult to achieve the exact result you want. On top of that, some options are currently lacking, such as not having enough hairstyles (we’re working on it!).
The third and final issue is that we don’t have enough body shapes. Even if you create a nice face, your gigachad 18 STR Fighter ends up with the same body shape as your sickly 8 CON Wizard. On top of that, there is currently a bug where the male body shape’s chest is awkwardly misplaced, which we are working to fix.
So, what now? We’re going to work on improving the Character Creator to address all of these issues. We can’t give an exact timeline yet; some changes may arrive in the coming weeks, others may take longer, but we’re committed to it! After all, that’s exactly what Early Access is for. Thank you all for the constructive feedback – keep it coming.

Crashes & Instabilities
Some of you are running into technical issues, which is very common with Early Access titles. We’re currently fixing crashes as we find them, but if you’re unable to play, make sure to check out our Support website — especially the articles about the game not starting and Intel CPU crashes. If none of those match your issue, send us a ticket through the system and let us know your configuration. That will help us get to the bottom of it.
We’re also rolling out a beta branch with an upcoming version that should fix quite a few additional crashes and bugs. You can try switching to that build if you’re experiencing too many issues while playing or can’t start the game. Simply right-click Solasta II in your Steam Library => Properties, then go to Game Versions & Betas and select the beta branch.
As always, we’re on this adventure together — so take a seat and tell us what you think!

Checking in after 24 hours
Hello folks, Myzzrym here!
It’s now been about 24 hours since Solasta II launched in Early Access. While that might seem a little early, we wanted to thank you for all the feedback you’ve already sent our way. We’ve always aimed to be proactive and transparent in our communication, and that’s not changing anytime soon.
After reading through the various Steam reviews, we’ve identified a few pain points — and, as with any good Early Access launch, we’re going to tackle them.
Character Creator
You’ve mentioned it, and we’ve seen it ourselves: the Character Creator is not performing as well as we hoped.
First, the selection of presets is simply too limited. This is something we want to improve by adding more presets and spending more time refining them. To be honest, we made the (wrong) assumption that most players would customize their characters from scratch, so our presets didn’t receive the attention they deserved.
Second, the Character Creator tool is currently a bit overcomplicated. While the face-morphing system can be fun to experiment with, it can also make it harder to achieve the exact result you want. Some customization options are also missing or limited, such as a wider variety of hairstyles. We’re already working on improvements here.
The third issue is the lack of body shape variety. Even if you create a great face, your powerful 18 STR Fighter ends up with the same body type as your frail 8 CON Wizard. On top of that, there’s currently a bug affecting the male body model where the chest appears incorrectly positioned. We’re actively working on fixing this.
So what’s next? We’ll be improving the Character Creator to address all of these issues. We can’t give an exact timeline yet. Some improvements may arrive within the coming weeks, while others may take a bit longer. However, we are committed to making these changes. That’s exactly what Early Access is for, and we truly appreciate your constructive feedback. Please keep it coming.
Crashes & Instability
Some players are experiencing technical issues, which is fairly common for Early Access titles. We are actively fixing crashes as they appear. If you’re unable to play, please check our Support website, especially the articles regarding the game not starting and Intel CPU crashes.
If none of those solutions match your issue, please submit a support ticket and include your system configuration. That information helps us investigate and resolve problems more effectively.
We are also releasing a beta branch containing an upcoming version of the game that should fix several additional crashes and bugs. If you’re encountering frequent issues or are unable to start the game, you can try switching to that version.
To do so:
Right-click Solasta II in your Steam Library → Properties → Game Versions & Betas → Select the beta branch.
As always, we are on this adventure together. Take a seat and let us know what you think.

Dev Update #24 – Solasta II is now available in Early Access!
Adventurers, the time has finally come!
We set sail for Neokos together. Grab your sword, your boots, your spellbook — whatever you need to face the dangerous roads ahead. Those with the wisdom of experience will remember the old saying: it is time to gather your party.

Hark, brother! Winter is over. The game is finally out, and our masters will return to feed us at last.
Available on Steam now!
It has been a little over a year since we first announced Solasta II to the world, and more than a year since development began. Our Steam Next Fest demo has also completed its long journey, lasting far beyond its original plan. Did you know we initially intended to remove it once Next Fest ended in February 2025?
Thankfully we realized many more players would want to try it. Hundreds of thousands of adventurers from around the world discovered Solasta II through the quiet village of Tor Wen.
Now it is time to say goodbye to the Tor Wen demo and welcome the Early Access version of Solasta II. Forged through passion and shaped by your feedback, the game is finally available on Steam. To celebrate the release, it will also be available with a small launch discount for the next 14 days.
Just like with our previous game, we are also offering a Supporter Pack DLC for those who would like to give the studio a little extra support. Don’t worry — no gameplay content is locked behind this DLC. Think of it as a tip jar, which comes with a few fun cosmetic items as a thank-you.
If you already own Solasta: Crown of the Magister on Steam, make sure to check out the Franchise Bundle for an additional discount.
Heroes of the Rift, we salute you for your service.
