With Crimson Desert’s launch just around the corner, here’s a quick FAQ covering some of the most common questions before you begin your journey in Pywel.
What time does Crimson Desert launch? Can I pre-load the game?
Crimson Desert launches simultaneously worldwide across all platforms on March 19, 15:00 PT / March 19, 22:00 GMT / March 20, 7:00 KST.
Pre-load will be available from March 17, 15:00 PT / March 17, 22:00 GMT / March 18, 7:00 KST on PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam.

What platforms is Crimson Desert available on?
Crimson Desert is currently available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam (PC & Mac), Epic Games Store, Mac App Store, and GeForce NOW.
What are Crimson Desert’s PC, console, and Mac performance specifications and system requirements?
Information about Crimson Desert’s console, PC, and Mac performance settings and system requirements can be found in the Performance Specs notice [LINK].
Please make sure your PC or Mac meets at least the minimum system requirements.
Does Crimson Desert support performance-enhancing technologies?
Crimson Desert supports FSR 3/4 and DLSS 4/4.5 on PC, upgraded PSSR on PS5 Pro, and FSR 3 on the base PS5 model and Xbox Series X|S.
The PC version also supports AMD FSR Ray Regeneration and NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
Please note that frame generation (FSR, DLSS, and MetalFX) is only supported on PC and Mac.
In addition, the Mac version supports MetalFX Upscaler, Frame Generation, and Denoiser.
Does Crimson Desert require an internet connection to play?
An internet connection is required for the initial setup, including the day-one patch, so players can install the latest version of the game.
Once the installation is complete, the game can be played offline.
Future updates and patches will also require an internet connection to download.
Does Crimson Desert support cross-save between different platforms?
No, Crimson Desert does not support cross-save.
What controllers are supported on the PC version?
The PC version supports Xbox controllers and the DualSense controller via USB.

What languages is Crimson Desert available in?
The game interface and subtitles are available in 14 languages:
English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America), Traditional Chinese, Portuguese (Brazil), and Turkish.
Full voiceover is available in English, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
Please note that physical editions purchased outside the Asia region do not include support for Traditional or Simplified Chinese.
Digital versions support all languages regardless of purchase region.
GAME EDITIONS AND BONUS ITEMS
What editions of Crimson Desert are available?

I purchased the Standard Edition. Can I upgrade to the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition?
There is currently no direct upgrade option.
However, players who already own the full game will be able to purchase the Deluxe Pack separately after launch on March 19. This pack includes the Balgran Shield, Kairos Plate Set, and Exclaire Horse Tack Set.
Please note that the Ultimate Pack included in the Collector’s Edition will not be sold separately.
Are there any differences between the digital and physical versions of the game?
There is no difference in in-game content between the digital and physical retail versions.
However, physical extras such as SteelBooks, photo cards, and similar items are only included with physical editions.
